Agents can now customize their preferred method of communication by document type: quotes, policies, endorsements, declinations, additional information requests, experience modifiers and Start transfer letters. Preferred methods of communication include email, mail and facsimile, or any combination of these methods.

The new tool helps you manage your Texas Mutual documents and correspondence more efficiently.

If you have a Texas Mutual online username and password, and you are signed up for self administration, you can set multiple preferred methods of communication for your agency. The online How to? feature provides detailed instructions for setting your preferred methods of communication.

Texas Mutual Makes Internet Quoting Easier to Use

Based on agent feedback, Texas Mutual Insurance Company has enhanced the entry of owner and officer information in its Internet Quoting (IQ) system:

  • IQ will use the Texas Workers’ Compensation Manual payroll rules and entity type to determine adequate payroll for covered owners and officers.
  • The IQ enhancements are designed to ensure adequate payroll at policy issuance.
