Texas Mutual^® employees work hard, and they take time out to play hard, too. Our Corporate and regional offices hold annual picnics and other fun activities throughout the year to help forge a sense of camaraderie among our staff and make us a more productive team.

Our approach works. Our employees care about each other, and they have proven that they will help a co-worker who is in need. When flooding affected employees in our Houston regional office, staff organized to help minimize the consequences.

Many employees carry the spirit of giving outside of work as well, participating in community service events and contributing to our companywide United Way campaign. Employees also participate to help United Way partner agencies.

Top tier service is the driving force behind everything we do. Our Total Customer Care and Shining Star awards recognize employees who exemplify our commitment to service. These programs encourage our staff to continuously work to deliver outstanding service.

We encourage employees to grow professionally as well. Our Information Technology staff brings employees up to speed on upgrades to our systems. Our Human Resources staff facilitates a variety of professional development classes designed to meet the needs of participants. Our underwriters, adjusters and other certified and licensed professionals have opportunities to earn continuing education credits toward their license renewals. Our Leadership Forums give managers the chance to discuss issues facing the company and learn to be better leaders.
