Texas Mutual Responds to TRIA Extension

In December 2005, Congress voted to extend the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act (TRIA) for another two years, in modified form. Texas Mutual Insurance Company will continue to provide TRIA coverage to all of our policyholders at no additional charge.

We are providing notice of TRIA coverage on the underwriting quote sheet. The Texas Department of Insurance approved our revised TRIA endorsement, and we are now including it on policies with effective dates on or after January 1, 2006.

We appreciate your business, and we assure you we will continue working hard to earn it. If you have questions or concerns, please contact your agency representative at (800) 859-5995. For more information on TRIA, visit the U.S. Department of Treasury at treas.gov.
