Internet Quoting and More!

Changes in workers’ comp aren’t limited to the legislative and regulatory arenas. At Texas Mutual Insurance Company, we’re changing our online services—again—to bring you even more useful and time-saving tools.

Internet Quoting!

Policy changes & endorsements
We recently enhanced our online services to empower you to make policy change requests, including online endorsements.

Using our online endorsement request function, you can change existing policies (within certain guidelines) and submit others online. This feature also allows you to:

  • Add, amend or delete waivers of subrogation, either specific or blanket.
  • Amend the number of employees covered under each location on the policy.
  • Add, amend or delete physical locations.
  • Amend the policyholder’s mailing address and phone number.
  • Add or delete standard exception class codes 8810, 8742 and 7380. You may also request to add or delete all other class codes and payroll. These changes will require underwriter review.

Online re-quotes
We also created an automatic re-quote function that lets you make changes (within certain guidelines) to new and renewal quotes even if you made the original submission in hard copy. You can change payrolls and class codes.

Internet Quoting
We know that the less time you spend on submissions, the more time you can put into agency sales and customer service. By taking advantage of our Internet Quoting (IQ) system, you can send online submissions on clients who:

  • Are new-in-business
  • Have no prior workers’ comp coverage
  • Were previously non-subscribers
  • Need a split modifier
  • Need incidental longshore coverage
  • Qualify for interim payroll reporting

IQ has a wealth of available class codes in its system, and you can even use IQ for qualifying clients with:

  • Longshore & harbor workers’ coverage
  • Notice of material change
  • Other states endorsement
  • Blanket waiver of subrogation
  • Specific waiver of subrogation
