Earn more commission
Texas Mutual Insurance Company has extended the 10 percent agent commission on new business through December 31, 2009.

The new-business commission bonus of 1 percent applies to policies with premiums up to $100,000 in our Cornerstone® program.

After December 31, 2009, new-business commission may return to the 9 percent rate. Texas Mutual will review the commission bonus and advise agents of any changes.

Commission structures on accounts in our Small Business Injury Protection Plan, Start program (insurer of last resort), and temporary staffing and employee leasing policies remain at the current program level.

Save time with submission upload
If you are an AMS or Applied user, you can save time by using the submission upload functionality from your management system. This feature allows the Internet Quoting submission to be pre-filled with information from a workers’ compensation application you save in your management system.

Go to www.texasmutual.com, click on Agent Gateway, select Internet Quoting, and click the link at the top of the page to find out how to save time when completing online submissions.

Don’t forget, you can also save time by processing your requites and endorsements online.

Visit our new website
In January, Texas Mutual unveiled a new look for texasmutual.com. As always, the site provides one-click access to your favorite Texas Mutual® online tools from the homepage.

It also reinforces our brand, provides Spanish resources for your clients and their injured workers, and gives us the flexibility to expand Texas Mutual® online services to meet your growing needs.
