Redesign Makes Texas Mutual Online Even Easier to Use
If dust could collect in cyberspace, some websites would be in sore need of a
thorough spring cleaning. Not www.texasmutual.com. We constantly evaluate
our site to ensure it meets two important criteria:
- It must be loaded with timesaving tools.
- It has to be easy to use.
Our e-business team recently unveiled a new design for the password-protected areas of our site. The team’s goal was to make it easier for you to find and navigate the tools you rely on.
What changed?
Navigation. Features are more accessible and intuitive. For example:
- A header bar appears on every page after you log in. It includes links to the tools agents use most.
- The new agent gateway page lets you search for an account, read the latest Texas Mutual Insurance Company news and review alerts about pending cancellations.
- The new action page lets you view policies, submissions and quotes in one list. You can then select the account you want to work with and choose the action to take with that account.
Styling. The e-business team made the buttons, menu layouts and sortable data tables
consistent within the online tools. This should help you and your customers get comfortable with the tools more quickly.
What didn’t change?
Core functionality. You can still visit www.texasmutual.com to get quotes, submit
endorsement requests, create custom loss runs and review your clients’ dividend history. If you were comfortable using these timesaving tools before, you will be comfortable using them now.
Your username and password. If you do not have a Texas Mutual® online services username and password, complete the free application.
