We Make Your Job Easier

Texas Mutual Insurance Company is one of the 10 easiest carriers in the country for independent agents to do business with. Furthermore, no carrier delivers better insurance expertise and support, according to Deep Customer Connections (DCC) Inc.

DCC helps property and casualty carriers make it easy for agents to work with them. This fall, more than 7,400 independent agents and brokers evaluated over 250 property and casualty carriers as part of DCC’s Ease of Doing Business survey.

Survey categories included “acts on agency needs,” “handles claims fairly,” “underwriting responsiveness,” “effective technology” and “makes it easy for the agent to do business with the policyholder.”

“Independent agents have made us Texas’ leading choice for workers’ compensation insurance,” said Ken Lauber, vice president of field operations at Texas Mutual. “With that honor comes responsibility. We’re always looking for new ways to make it easier for agents to do business with us.”

Texas Mutual’s ease of doing business experience starts when you request a quote. Our underwriters help you get prompt, appropriate coverage for your clients at the right price. From there, our loss prevention consultants help policyholders prevent accidents, and our adjusters are committed to managing claims.

Lauber adds that although the DCC award is an honor, agents can expect more ease of doing business initiatives from Texas Mutual, especially in the online services arena.

Agents can already get quotes, manage their book of business, review their clients’ dividend history, download custom loss runs and access claim details online. With feedback from our Agents Advisory Council (AAC) and Account Executive Council (AEC), we will continue to make our website a practical resource for our customers.

“Texas Mutual is eager to work with agencies to make things as easy to use as possible,” said AEC member Teresa Netz. “When they design their online services, they listen to agents and actually implement the ideas. On a scale of one to 10, Texas Mutual is off the charts.”
