Mission
No one gets hurt at work through LOWER* incidents. *(Limiting Oilfield Workers' Exposures and Risks)

Objective/purpose
The objectives of the Oil and Gas Roundtable are to address critical safety & health concerns and to share solutions throughout the oil and gas industry.

Scope
The Oil and Gas Roundtable serves as a catalyst for all companies in the oil and gas industry to work with each other, as well as with regulatory agencies and other industry associations to reduce workplace hazards and injuries.

Methods:

  • Meet periodically to share and discuss safety, health and other related issues.
  • Nominate a chair person and vice chair person to lead meeting discussions.
  • Establish “break-out groups” to address specific issues.
  • Work with other energy groups such as API, OSHA, OSHCON, IADC, EPA and AESC.
  • Distribute information to share concerns, successes and best practices.

Resources Required
Participants will designate representatives to participate in meetings, contributing knowledge, information and support.
