Meet Kristi Koncaba

Ms. Koncaba was appointed to Texas Mutual’s Board of Directors in 2018. She has over 20 years of experience in commercial banking, including being the co-founder, board member and president of Family Bancorp Inc., Friendswood Capital Corporation and Texan Bank, National Association. Friendswood Capital Corporation and Texan Bank were sold to Home Bank in March 2022. She also serves on the boards of Stewart Security Capital, Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce, South Belt-Ellington Chamber of Commerce, and was a past chairperson for the Texas Bankers Foundation Board, Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and the Bay Area YMCA Advisory Board. Ms. Koncaba was a 2013 Change Magazine Women Creating Change honoree, a 2016 University of Houston–Clear Lake Early Achievement Award recipient, a 2017 Perry Family YMCA Volunteer of the Year, a 2019 Houston Business Journal - Women Who Mean Business honoree and a University of Houston Cougar 100 honoree each year from 2018 to 2022.
