Meet Paul Schlaud
Chief Legal Officer
Paul Schlaud serves as the company’s chief legal officer. He is also the chief legal officer of Texas Mutual’s health subsidiary, Texicare. He began his career as a law clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit, and practiced law at both Vinson & Elkins LLP and Reeves and Brightwell LLP.
He received his J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he also served as editor for the Harvard Law Review. He is a member of the American Law Institute.
