Meet Hon. Ron Simmons

Mr. Simmons, of Plano, Texas, joined Texas Mutual's Board of Directors in 2019 and is currently chairman. He also serves on Texicare's Board of Directors. He was the co-founder and chairman of the Retirement Advisors of America, a wealth management company with approximately $3 billion in assets under management.
Mr. Simmons also served in the Texas Legislature as a state representative for House District 65 from 2013 until 2019. He is a former board member of the American Legislative Exchange Council and has served on the Education Commission of the States. Additionally, he is the former vice chairman of the Autism Society of America. Mr. Simmons received a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Dallas Baptist University.
