In light of the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent decision to reinstate the stay, OSHA has withdrawn the COVID-19 vaccination and testing emergency temporary standard (ETS). The agency now plans to prioritize a permanent standard for the health care industry.

Fall prevention stand-down set for May 2-6

The National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction has been scheduled for May 2-6. The annual event, hosted by OSHA and other safety organizations, aims to raise awareness of fall hazards in the construction industry.

OSHA seeks employee representative for construction committee

OSHA is currently seeking an employee representative to serve on its Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health. The committee advises the agency on upcoming standards and provisions within the Construction Safety Act of 1969. Nominations for the representative role are due by February 22.
