The annual National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction will take place May 2-6. The campaign aims to raise awareness about fall hazards and put a stop to preventable fatalities. Employers are encouraged to participate by conducting training on fall prevention topics.

OSHA schedules stakeholder meeting on heat illness prevention standard

OSHA has scheduled a virtual stakeholder meeting regarding its proposed standard on heat illness and injury prevention. During the meeting the agency will review ongoing activities and introduce the rulemaking process. Stakeholders can participate by making comments or asking questions. The event will take place on May 3.
