Responding to July 2025 Central Texas floods
This past Fourth of July weekend, catastrophic flooding devastated the Texas Hill Country and Central Texas region. Our hearts go out to those affected by the floods, especially the families who’ve lost loved ones. As rescue efforts continue and damage is assessed, we stand united with our fellow Texans during this challenging time.
Community support
In times of crisis, it’s crucial we come together as a community. To support our neighbors with disaster recovery and response efforts, we’re making philanthropic donations to the following organizations:
- Kerr County Flood Relief Fund at the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country
- WilCo Cares Fund at the Central Texas Community Foundation
- Our longstanding partner, Texas Search and Rescue (TEXSAR)
If you’re interested in supporting fellow Texans, we encourage you to find trustworthy organizations like the three we’ve vetted above. We’ve been told that monetary donations are most useful at this time.
Taking care of our policyholders
We know that many of our policyholders and agents have been affected by this disaster. Our claims and customer service teams are prepared to provide swift and compassionate care to help policyholders as they navigate this incredibly difficult time. You can report a claim online at any time and we’ll be here to support you every step of the way.
Get assistance and additional resources
Additional resources are available with BeforeDuringAfter, our disaster preparedness and response tool. If you’ve suffered damage as a result of flooding, you’ll find a recovery timeline and checklists to help you with an insurance claim. And if you’re looking to help others, you’ll also find a Give Back guide to connect you with opportunities to contribute to recovery efforts.
Texas Mutual policyholders also have exclusive access to thousands of free safety resources in English and Spanish, in their texasmutual.com accounts, including mental health resources and other related content.
Additionally, you can find local weather alerts at BeforeDuringAfter, and we encourage everyone to stay vigilant.
As we face this tragedy together, let us remember the strength and resilience of the Texas spirit. We’re proud to stand with our fellow Texans as our communities recover and rebuild.
