OSHA proposes amendments to recordkeeping

OSHA is proposing updates to its recordkeeping regulation that would affect electronic reporting. If enacted, establishments with 100 or more employees in certain industries would be required to submit OSHA Forms 300, 301 and 300A. The rule would also update the industry classification system used to determine who is covered and require establishments to include their company name when reporting.

This year’s National Work Zone Awareness Week will take place April 11-15. The annual campaign aims to promote safe driving and extra caution through highway work zones. The campaign’s website offers downloadable posters and other resources to promote awareness.

National Stand-Down to Prevent Struck-by Incidents starts April 11

In coordination with National Work Zone Awareness Week, the NORA Construction Sector Council is hosting its third annual stand down event for struck-by incidents. The organization will host several webinars during the week of April 11-15 to provide education on best practices to prevent struck-by incidents.
