Texas Mutual CEO elected to NCCI board of directorsPresident and CEO Jeanette Ward

We’re happy to share that Texas Mutual President and CEO Jeanette Ward has been elected as one of the insurer members on the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) 2025 Board of Directors.

NCCI is the nation’s most comprehensive source for workers’ compensation data, insights and solutions, aiming to foster a healthy workers’ compensation system. In several states, including Texas, NCCI is designated as the licensed rating, advisory and statistical organization.

Jeanette’s appointment not only highlights her exceptional leadership and expertise in the workers' compensation industry but also reinforces Texas Mutual's commitment to excellence and innovation.

Jeanette was named president and CEO of Texas Mutual in 2023 and has since led with purpose and vision. She drives strategic direction, oversees operations and fosters a culture of commitment to safety, service and innovation in the workers’ comp industry.

Outside of her role here, Jeanette has a deep commitment to community involvement, including leadership roles with the American Heart Association, United Way and Early Matters Greater Austin, and the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundations (IICF). She uses her platforms and organizational involvement to further strategic partnerships and champion issues like workforce readiness, child care and economic mobility, aligning business operations with pressing societal needs.

Jeanette's presence on this influential board will undoubtedly bring valuable insights and perspectives that will benefit both our company and the broader workers' compensation landscape.
