Although the number of miles driven dropped significantly in 2020, the NSC is reporting the most motor vehicle deaths since 2007. Additionally, the rate of driving fatalities increased almost 25% compared to 2019. The organization’s president and CEO commented that the numbers highlight the “lack of an effective roadway safety culture.”

Survey shows workers want to return to work with safety precautions in place

After living with COVID-19 quarantines for about a year, a new survey shows that 85% of employees want to return to the office. However, 61% of those employees also want strict COVID-19 prevention measures in place. Most respondents expect employers to provide hand sanitizer and masks in addition to enforcing social distancing measures.
