Taking Care of Texans

2021 Annual Report

Since our founding in 1991, caring for Texans has been at the heart of everything we do, and 2021 was no different. We’re proud to have delivered consistent and best-in-class service for Texas businesses, their employees and our agents in an unpredictable environment.

Consistency for Texas businesses

Against the ongoing pandemic in 2021, we remained steadfast in our commitment to providing a stable source of workers’ compensation, delivering exceptional service to our customers and building a stronger, safer Texas. In 2021, we distributed $330 million in individual dividends to over 57,000 policyholders. We hosted three Work Safe, Texas Online summits for nearly 2,000 attendees. We were also named to Ward’s 50 top performers for the ninth consecutive year.

A force for good

Through our TXM for Texas community affairs program, we’re supporting and strengthening our communities and the Texas economy by investing in generational learning, workforce development, disaster preparedness and relief, and community building. In February, we donated $100,000 to six organizations supporting Texans in the aftermath of Winter Storm Uri. We also launched our first Request for Proposal (RFP) initiatives delivering nearly $5 million to Texas nonprofits.
