Texas Mutual awards millions of dollars in grants each year to create safer, healthier work environments. This year, more than 1,200 businesses and first responders will receive funds to keep their people safe on the job. Safety grants open each summer, while wellness grants and VFIS volunteer first responder grants open in the fall.
These grants are part of our commitment to the safety and wellness of all Texans through our community program, TXM for Texas. Find more information about the grants below.
Healthier employees save you money on workers' compensation claims, health care costs, missed work days and so much more. We've partnered with Naturally Slim, an online and mobile app program, to offer you the opportunity to enhance your employees’ wellness.
Wellness grant recipients will receive a 12-month online program for their eligible employees that includes 10 weeks of Naturally Slim's foundation, seven bi-weekly videos for reinforcement, and six monthly videos for maintenance. Grant applications will open on November 1. We recommend applying as soon as possible, as applications are processed in the order they are received. The application closes when the program slots are full.
